BREAKING NEWS OUT OF DC: Trump Is Making Them Work For It – Let The Riots Begin!

During Barack Hussein Obama’s time in the White House, he allowed millions of people to get on welfare and freeload off of the hard work of American taxpayers. Now that Donald Trump is in office, however, he is letting welfare leeches everywhere know that their free rides are over.

Freedom Daily reported that since taking office, Trump has rolled out numerous programs that would slash welfare programs, much to the dismay of liberals everywhere. This week, Trump issued another directive that would allow states to require Medicaid recipients to work for their government-paid insurance. This move will get able-bodied people who are lazy and entitled off the couch and into the job fields.

Trump’s White House explained that they would allow states to test requiring some Medicaid recipients to work or participate in community activities such as volunteering or jobs training as a condition of eligibility for the government health insurance program for the poor. The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMMS) has already issued guidance making it easier for states to design and propose test programs that implement such requirements.

States can traditionally seek waivers to test out new ideas for the program. The Trump administration said that 10 states, most of which are conservative, have applied for waivers involving work requirements or community involvement. These states are Arizona, Arkansas, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Utah, and Wisconsin.

“Medicaid needs to be more flexible so that states can best address the needs of this population,” said Seema Verma, head of CMMS. “Our fundamental goal is to make a positive and lasting difference in the health and wellness of our beneficiaries.”

Liberals are of course triggered by this, as they believe that lazy leeches should be allowed to freeload off of the hard work of others. However, despite what the left tells you, welfare fraud did indeed become a huge issue during Obama’s presidency, and Trump isn’t about to let this continue.

This comes after it was reported that new data from the United States Department of Agriculture or the USDA shows that the number of people on food stamps has dropped by two million since Trump took office. Trump has also talked about his intentions to make it a priority to keep SNAP program costs down for taxpayers at both the state and federal levels, which means enrollment will likely go down even further in 2018.

The USDA’s data showed that the number of people enrolled in what is known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program or SNAP program plunged to 42,182,443 in fiscal year (FY) 2017, which is a drop of 2,036,920 from the 44,219,363 enrolled in FY 2016. SNAP is the government program that hands out the food stamps.
