A damning video has just come back to haunt Meghan Markle, and the royal family is not happy about it at all.
Daily Mail reported that French lawyers are arguing that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge did not deserve a £92,000 payout for topless photos of Kate because Meghan once posed for sexy photos herself. Prince William and Kate Middleton were awarded a £92,000 payout after long-lens images of Kate sunbathing on a terrace were published by France’s Closer magazine in September 2012.
Closer is appealing the case this week, and the publication’s lawyers say that it’s “hypocritical” of the Cambridges to claim such a huge compensation when modern members of the royal family are “happy with sexy photos.”
The lawyers are reportedly planning to use video footage of Meghan stripping while grilling burgers to show that female members of the British Royal Family have used steamy photo shoots to promote themselves. Shot in 2013. the “Grilling Never Looked So Hot With Meghan Markle” video shows her removing her shirt for the camera before seductively posing in shorts while grilling hamburgers.
“‘They are happy with sexy photos of themselves when they are in control, but then claim huge amounts of money when they’re unauthorised,” one legal source said of the royal family. “There’s ridiculous hypocrisy involved, and the outrageous compensation figure reflects this.”
This comes after Meghan was stunned when she learned that any female progeny she may have with Harry will have no royal title. When Queen Elizabeth chose Harry and Meghan’s title, she could have issued a special proclamation regarding Harry’s heirs that would have allowed his daughters to have titles. Instead, the Queen chose the unwanted title of Sussex, where it states no female from their marriage can inherit it.
Royal insiders say that Meghan was incredibly angry when she learned that she would need to have sons in order for them to obtain royal titles.
Meghan is clearly learning the hard way that her royal dream is turning into a nightmare!
