It’s been nearly two weeks since ABC cancelled Roseanne Barr’s eponymous sitcom after she posted an offensive tweet about Valerie Jarrett, Barack Obama’s former advisor. Now, a producer of “Roseanne” has spoken out to make it clear that liberals are still not satisfied that Barr has been punished enough for what she did.
The Hill reported that Whitney Cummings, a comedian and former “Roseanne” executive producer, said that she would be against any reboot of the show that would allow Barr to benefit financially.
“My heart is broken about it. I don’t really have words at the moment, but maybe they can salvage the legacy in some way but, if it benefits her financially, it’s a bad move,” Cummings said.
She went on to say that the show’s cancellation is a shame for everyone who worked on it.
“All the cast and crew are so proud of the work that we did,” Cummings said.
“I’m just trying to heal from the whole thing and make sense of it all,” she said. “I was just as horrified as everybody else and really heartbroken about it, so I am just trying to put the pieces together.”
“Everyone is just so desperate to preserve the legacy of a show that touched so many people and with such incredible actors on the show … and so many writers, everyone is trying to just stop the bleeding and preserve all the damage that has been done,” Cummings concluded.

It’s sad that liberals have no interest in forgiving Barr despite the fact that she has apologized numerous times for what she did. Her show simply being cancelled is not enough of a punishment in their eyes, and they want to see her life totally ruined over her tweet.
