American actress Meghan Markle is set to have the wedding of her dreams next month when she marries Prince Harry. However, her precious royal wedding may be off after what Harry just learned about her first marriage.
Rumors have long swirled that Meghan is nothing more than an opportunistic gold digger who uses people for her own personal gain. These rumors appear to have just been confirmed in the new book “Meghan, A Hollywood Princess,” which was written by Princess Diana biographer Andrew Morton.
Mad World News reported that in the book, Morton revealed that Meghan ended her two-year marriage to Hollywood producer Trevor Engelson “totally out of the blue” once he could no longer help her career. When she met Engelson at a West Hollywood dive bar, Meghan was a struggling actress who made ends meet by hostessing at restaurants and working as a “Deal or No Deal” model.
By the time she was preparing to marry Engelson in 2011, Meghan had scored a role on the show “Suits,” which filmed in New York and Canada. This made it difficult for her to get time with Engelson.
“Meg was on her way up,” said Tom Jr., Markle’s half-brother.
Nevertheless, Meghan went through with marrying Engelson in Jamaica.
“It was such a moving wedding,” a bridesmaid said. “I started crying the moment I saw her in her dress.”
Morton claims that Meghan’s 2013 announcement that the marriage was over shocked friends and was “totally out of the blue” for Engelson.
“Trevor went from cherishing Meghan to, as one friend observed, ‘feeling like he was a piece of something stuck to the bottom of her shoe,’” Morton wrote. “A wealthy entrepreneur friend claimed the marriage ended so abruptly that Meghan sent her wedding and engagement rings back to Trevor by registered post.”
The implication of the book is that Meghan married Engelson as a calculated career move, and then tossed him aside when he was no longer of use to her. This should be terrifying for Prince Harry, as she could be doing the exact same thing to him, but on a much larger scale. It should be noted that Meghan is not signing a prenup when she marries Harry, meaning that as soon as they are officially married, she can get half of Harry’s money in a divorce. It sounds like Meghan may not need Harry very soon either…
